  • Vale Catering Electronic system

Vale Catering have made changes to the way dinner money will be recorded against pupil meals.  From September Vale Catering have purchased an electronic system which links the school pupil database to the kitchen terminal.  This means that all children in school will appear on the system in the kitchen along with the balance of dinner money paid into school. For parents this will mean that dinner money must be paid in advance (Monday for the week ahead) as if the payment has not been made the kitchen staff will not be able to serve a dinner for the pupil.  This will mean that school office staff will have to contact parents to bring a packed lunch to school.  If your children are entitled to free school meals this will be updated on the kitchen system and will not cause any problems.
