  • Consultation on Transforming Secondary Schools in Barry

    The Consultation Document on the proposals to transform secondary schools in Barry has been circulated to all parents.  Two parent drop in meetings have been arranged to be held at Gladstone Room Barry Memorial Hall session one on Tuesday 2nd June 2015 3.30 pm - 7.30 pm and the second on 3rd June 2015 3.30 pm - 7.30 pm.  This is an opportunity to be able to get answers to any questions you may have about the proposals. The consultation period will run from 11th May to 6th July 2015.  There is an online response form at www.valeofglamorgan.gov.uk/barryschools .

  • Half Term

    School will be closed for the half term holiday from Monday 25th May returning to school normal time on Monday 1st June.  We look forward to the last half term of this academic year with activities including Sports Day being held on 23rd June, The Summer Fayre on 19th June and also the End of the Show Show (details to follow from Miss Kingston).

  • Road Safety Online Forum

    Parents, teachers and other interested parties are being invited to submit questions for a series of online forums covering child road safety issues, which will be held on the Road Safety GB website during Global Road Safety Week 4th-10th May 2015.  The four forums covering children as pedestrians, as cyclists, travelling in cars, and how to set up and run a Junior Road Safety Officer Scheme will be held daily on 7th - 10th May beween 12-1pm.  For more information on Global Road Safety Week visit http://www.who.int/roadsafety/week.2015/en/


  • New Summer School Dinner Menu

    A new Vale Catering School Dinner Menu has been uoaded to the School Information page of the website in readiness for the new term.  Printed copies are due in school week beginning 13th April and will be sent home with pupils.  A reminder that the cost of a school dinner increases to £2.10 per day after the Easter holidays.

  • Sports Day

    Please remember to return your signed consent form to school by 12th June for the forthcoming Sports Day being held on 23rd June at Jenner Park Stadium.
